The ResMed AirMini AutoSet Travel CPAP Machine is a compact, portable CPAP designed for users who want effective therapy in a travel-friendly size. As one of ResMed’s smallest CPAP machines, it is built for convenience without giving up the core therapy features many users rely on.
The AirMini is a strong option for frequent travelers, weekend trips, and anyone who wants a smaller second machine for on-the-go use. With AutoSet therapy, it can automatically adjust pressure within the prescribed range to support comfortable and consistent treatment.
Because this listing is for the machine itself, it pairs with AirMini-compatible setup packs and accessories rather than standard CPAP hoses and masks. That makes it important to choose compatible accessories made specifically for the AirMini system.

Does the ResMed AirMini Have a Humidifier?
Yes, but not the kind you are picturing. The AirMini has no water chamber and no distilled water. Instead it uses a small waterless cartridge called HumidX, a heat-and-moisture exchanger that captures the warmth and moisture from your own exhaled breath and returns it on the next inhale.
In practice that is the whole reason the machine is this small: there is no tank to fill, empty before a flight, or spill in a suitcase.
- HumidX Standard - $34: everyday humidification for normal to moderately dry conditions.
- HumidX Plus - $37: stronger output for genuinely dry air, such as aircraft cabins, desert climates and high-altitude destinations.
Two things to know before you buy. HumidX works with AirMini setups using the AirFit or AirTouch N20, AirFit N30, or AirFit P10 for AirMini masks, through their dedicated setup packs. And each cartridge is single-patient and disposable - replace it within 30 days of opening, even if you have not used it every night.
Flying With the ResMed AirMini
The AirMini AutoSet is FAA-approved for in-flight use. Switch your phone to airplane mode if you are using the AirMini app during the flight. As with any CPAP, keep the machine in your carry-on rather than checked baggage.
The one thing to plan for is power: the AirMini has no built-in battery. For flights, camping or anywhere without an outlet, it runs from an external pack - the Zopec Explore Mini ($349) supports the AirMini directly with the appropriate DC cables and holds roughly 98-99.5 Wh, keeping it under the 100 Wh limit airlines apply to spare lithium batteries carried in the cabin.
What You Need to Run an AirMini
This listing is the machine on its own. Because the AirMini uses its own tubing and connectors rather than standard CPAP hoses, a working setup also needs an AirMini-specific setup pack matched to your mask, plus filters and tubing. A prescription is required for the machine itself, as it is for any CPAP.
