Getting the pillow size right

The pillows should rest at the opening of the nostrils without pushing inside or spreading them. Most masks include several pillow sizes in the box, so try them before you settle on one.

How does a nasal pillow mask work?

Two soft pillows rest at the opening of your nostrils and deliver the air directly into the nose. A thin frame and headgear hold them in place. Nothing covers the nose or mouth.

What is the difference between a nasal mask and a nasal pillow mask?

A nasal mask covers the nose or sits under it with one cushion. A nasal pillow mask seals at each nostril. Pillows are smaller and lighter; a nasal mask spreads the airflow over a wider area.

Are nasal pillows good for high pressure?

They work best at low to moderate pressures. At high pressures the direct airflow can feel strong and the seal is harder to hold, so many people move to a nasal or full face mask.

Which nasal pillow mask is the quietest and lightest?

The ResMed AirFit P10 is the lightest mask on this page, and its mesh vent spreads the exhaled air so it makes little noise.

Do I need a prescription to buy one of these masks?

Yes. Every complete CPAP mask is sold by prescription. Place your order, then email a copy of your prescription to info@orderyoursupplies.com and include your order number so we can match it. Replacement cushions, headgear and mask kits sold without headgear do not need a prescription.

Can I return a mask if it does not fit?

Only if it is unused. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery when the mask is still in its sealed original packaging; a mask that has been opened or worn cannot be returned. Approved returns are refunded minus a 20% restocking fee, or you can take store credit. If you are between sizes, a fit pack includes more than one cushion size.
