Silicone or memory foam

ResMed AirTouch cushions are memory foam and AirFit cushions are silicone. The AirTouch F20 cushion fits the AirFit F20 frame, so you can switch between the two without buying a new mask. Memory foam is not washed in water and is replaced about once a month.

When to replace a cushion

We suggest a new cushion or set of nasal pillows about once a month. Replace it sooner if it leaks, feels slippery after washing, has lost its shape or has turned yellow.

How often should I replace my CPAP mask cushion?
About once a month for most cushions and nasal pillows. Skin oil breaks down silicone, so an older cushion leaks even when it looks fine.
How do I know which cushion fits my mask?
Cushions are made for one mask model. Match the model name on your mask frame to the listing, then choose the size marked on your current cushion.
Can I put an AirTouch memory foam cushion on an AirFit F20?
Yes. The AirTouch F20 cushion fits the AirFit F20 frame, and the AirFit F20 silicone cushion fits the AirTouch F20.
What is the difference between a cushion and nasal pillows?
A cushion seals around or under the nose, or around the nose and mouth. Nasal pillows are two small inserts that seal at the nostrils. Each fits only its own mask type.
Do I need a prescription for these?
No. Replacement parts and supplies ship without a prescription. Only complete masks, CPAP and BiPAP machines and oxygen concentrators need one.
Can I return a part if it is the wrong one?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it is unused and still in its sealed original packaging. Approved returns are refunded minus a 20% restocking fee, or you can take store credit. Email returns@orderyoursupplies.com to start a return.
