The ResMed AirCurve 10 ST-A BiPAP with HumidAir is an advanced non‑invasive ventilation (NIV) device designed for patients with complex respiratory conditions such as neuromuscular disease, severe COPD, restrictive lung disorders, and obesity hypoventilation syndrome. It combines multiple bilevel and volume‑assured modes, integrated heated humidification, and connected monitoring to deliver personalized, hospital‑grade support in a home‑friendly form factor.

Unlike the standard AirCurve 10 ST, the ST‑A model adds ResMed’s iVAPS (Intelligent Volume‑Assured Pressure Support) with Intelligent Backup Rate (iBR), which automatically adapts pressure support and backup rate to maintain a target alveolar ventilation even as respiratory rate and effort change throughout the night. This makes the ST‑A particularly suited for patients whose ventilation needs fluctuate, including those with chronic hypercapnia or neuromuscular weakness.

The AirCurve 10 ST‑A offers six therapy modes:
