Description

The ResMed Pixi is a pediatric nasal CPAP mask made for children ages 2 to 7 on CPAP or bilevel therapy. This is the complete system with headgear (ResMed part 61030).

The Pixi has a thin, single-wall silicone cushion that covers the nose and leaves the mouth clear. Its headgear was shaped from children's head and face measurements and sits away from the eyes and ears, so parents can still see the child's face. A quick-release clip lets you take the mask off without losing the strap settings, and the short tube can sit on either side of the mask.

Fits: CPAP and bilevel machines with a standard 22 mm hose, at therapy pressures of 3 to 20 cm H2O.

Size: one size. Fit is set with the top, middle and lower headgear straps. Fit the mask with your child sitting up, and adjust the straps from the bottom up without overtightening.

Replacement: ResMed recommends a new cushion every month, a new frame system every 3 months and new headgear every 6 months. ResMed sells the Pixi cushion (61033), headgear (61034) and frame system (61035) separately.

Care: after each use, take the mask apart and gently wash it in warm water with mild soap, clean the vent with a soft brush, rinse and air dry out of direct sunlight. Hand wash the headgear weekly. Avoid bleach, alcohol and scented products. Don't leave long lengths of tubing around the top of your child's bed.
