ResMed Oxygen Connector Port | 26960

The ResMed Oxygen Connector Port (26960) lets you add supplemental oxygen to the airflow of a compatible ResMed machine. It is for people whose clinician has told them to use oxygen together with their PAP therapy.

The port fits directly on the machine's air outlet, not at the mask. Your air tubing attaches to the other end, and your oxygen supply tubing attaches to the small oxygen inlet. ResMed designed it to reduce oxygen backflow compared with standard T-piece oxygen adapters, and approves it for oxygen flows up to 15 L/min.

Fits: the ResMed VPAP S, VPAP ST, VPAP III ST-A (including with QuickNav), VPAP Auto 25, VPAP IV and VPAP IV ST listed in the port's user guide.

Setup:

• Push the port firmly onto the machine's air outlet, with its arrows pointing away from the machine.
• Attach the air tubing to the other end of the port, up to the marked line.
• Connect your oxygen supply tubing to the oxygen inlet.
• Turn the machine on and make sure air is flowing before you turn on the oxygen. Turn the oxygen off before you turn the machine off.

Safety: oxygen supports burning. Don't smoke or use oxygen near an open flame, and never leave oxygen running while the machine is off, because it can build up inside the machine.

Care: wash in warm water with mild detergent, rinse well and air dry. Don't use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, aromatic solutions, moisturizing or antibacterial soaps, or scented oils.
