Description
The Philips Respironics Premium Chinstrap (part number 1012911) is for CPAP and BiPAP users who wear a nasal or nasal pillows mask and breathe through their mouth during sleep.
When your mouth falls open on a nasal mask, air escapes through it. That can cause dry mouth and makes your therapy less effective. The chinstrap is a wrap-around strap that goes over the top of your head and under your chin to help keep your mouth closed while you sleep. You wear it along with your mask's own headgear.
Fits: Philips makes it for use with any nasal or nasal pillows mask.
Size: one size for adults.
Premium or Deluxe? Philips makes two chinstraps. The Premium (this one) is a wrap-around head strap. The Deluxe Chin Strap (1006085) is Philips' value option and adds a wide support strip.
Warranty: Philips covers chin straps and other accessories for 90 days from the date they ship to you.
