How do you size a ResMed AirFit F20?

Sizing for your AirFit F20 use a mirror and hold the sizing guide to your face. The top of the guide should correspond with the top of your nasal bridge. the lower part of the guide indicates which mask size is best for your face. The size that aligns with the crease below your lower lip will be your recommended fit.

How often should I replace my F20 cushion?

Your cushion, frame, tubing, elbow and headgear should all be regularly checked for cracks and tears. If any component of your mask is cracked or torn, it may be damaged and in need of replacement. To ensure optimum comfort and seal, we recommend regularly replenishing your AirTouch F20 mask cushion every month.

This is relevant when your device is an Auto-CPAP. During any given night, the device recognizes the 90% Pressure achieved by the Auto Algorithm. 90% Pressure is defined as the pressure at which the device spent 90% of the session time at or below.

AirFit F20 is validated at therapy pressures from 3 to 40 cm H20 – AirFit F20 user guide, ResMed Pty Ltd 2019.

Is 15 a high CPAP pressure?

The maximum setting varies with the type of machine, but it could be as high as 25 or 30 CWP. The average setting often lies between these two extremes. Levels above 15-20 CWP may require a change to bilevel therapy, (BPAP).
